This cannon is designed to meet the general demand for a low priced, high quality breech-loading cannon, possessing safety when handled according to instructions. Simple instructions and ease of operation. It has a 12" turned and polished manganese bronze barrel, a sliding breech mechanism, and an aluminum cast carriage painted black. Manganese bronze at 110 psi has a tensile strength over 2X that of yellow brass. Its appearance is sharp looking and a real crowd pleaser!

The A & N 10 Gauge Salute Cannon is used by Yacht Clubs for starting boat races, schools and colleges for track events and football games, Memorial Day exercises and Independence Day celebrations. Boy Scouts and summer camps use them for reveille, signal gun for camp meetings, and sunset color ceremonies. The boom of a cannon makes all events more exciting.
